We are proud to announce that SPRINGER Kommunal- und Umwelttechnik GmbH has been certified as a climate-neutral company by Fokus Zukunft. To offset greenhouse gas emissions, a total of 618 climate protection certificates were retired for the period from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2024, specifically for wind energy in Namibia (ID 1915) under the VCS standard. This measure is based on a greenhouse gas inventory for the year 2017, taking into account operational boundaries in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard: Scope 1 - Scope 2 - upstream Scope 3 emissions, excluding raw material procurement. This certification underscores our sustainable commitment and efforts to minimise our impact on climate change.
