The municipal snowplough from SPRINGER is the answer to the diverse requirements of winter maintenance in cities, where varying types of snow and conditions can pose a challenge. To ensure safe and optimum clearance work under these changing conditions, Springer developed this clearing equipment based on its customers’ experience.
The clearing equipment consists of multiple ploughshare segments, ensuring the snowplough adapts perfectly to various terrain. Optional quick adjustment of slide shoes placed close to the scraper blade or spindle adjustment of wheels play a crucial role in gentle yet effective clearing performance. This not only prevents the blade from bouncing on uneven surfaces but also ensures precise adaptation to the road surface.
The folding mechanism is an intelligent feature that enables the individual plough segments to fold back when an obstacle is encountered. The blade segments then gently return to their clearing position. The proven automatic collision protection ensures safe handling and effectively prevents damage to the clearing equipment, road and obstacles.
The municipal snowplough offers numerous mounting options, including three-point, front loader frame or wheel loader mounting frame or mounting for quick-change plate in sizes Euro 3 or Euro 5, from the hydraulic lifting and pressure device with adjustable lowering throttle to the hydraulic swivel device with a double shock valve all the way to a rubber snow dust protector. The optional slide shoes or wheels feature spindle adjustment and the scraper bar segments are protected by rubber dampers. Hydraulic mechanical level adjustment is optionally available, and it is also possible to add a hydraulic discharge stop.
